Lapacho is also often included in this general marketing name and is found in Paraguay. Lapacho belongs to the same botanical family as Ipe, they are brothers. This species is made up of warm brown tones as well as some reddish and green tones depending on where it was grown and harvested. This species is equally suited in a traditional or rustic interior design as well as a very modern urban environment. We have available for sale beautiful 3″ Solid Prefinished Brazilian Walnut/Ipe flooring finished at a 25 gloss level. The wood is finished natural with no color or tint added to the finish. This material was specially sorted for color by our manufacturer in Brazil and prefinished in Reidsville, N.C. 27320. Brazilian Walnut is three times harder than White Oak, Class A fire rated and simply a gorgeous dark floor.
