Stair Treads & Risers

Stewartfloor is pleased to offer prefinished Stair Treads and Risers. We offer you a classically modern staircase solution featuring color-coordinating stair treads and risers:

Innovative stair tread pre-defined bull nose design allows for precise placement on the stair to comply with most Building Code requirements.
Offered in exact species match or stained to match stewartfloor product offering
Solid, edge-glued construction for long-term stability and durability
High-tech, environmentally safe sealers and Aluminum Oxide topcoats provide added durability, scratch resistance and compatibility with stewartfloor flooring products.
Prefinished treads are individually boxed for protection and ease of transport.

Standard Stair Tread

Standard stair treads are suited for a boxed stair case that is enclosed by walls on both sides. Regular sizes include nominal 36", 42" and 48" lengths. Extra lengths available in 5', 6' and 7' lengths. Custom sizes may be considered.
o No returns are included on Standard treads
Unfinished, natural and stain finish options are available.

Universal Stair Tread

Universal stair treads are suitable for open stair cases where the returns provide a pleasing finished affect along the skirt board. Regular sizes include nominal 36", 42" and 48" internal lengths. Extra lengths are available in 5', 6' and 7' internal lengths. Custom sizes may be considered.
Complete with 2 returns to eliminate confusion of left versus right when ordering and installing on the jobsite.
Unfinished or prefinished to match options are available.
Returns are reinforced to provide increased joint stability, while allowing wood expansion and retraction

Stair Riser

Risers are the boards that form the vertical face of each step. This creates the "toe kick" area between the stair treads.
Standard riser sizes include 36", 42" and 48" lengths. Extra lengths are available in 5', 6' and 7' lengths.
Risers1/4" and 3/4" thick riser options are offered to accommodate most stair case configurations.
White risers are available in 1/4" and 3/4" MDF board.
Risers are offered in unfinished, natural and stain finishes.

Wood Vents

Each stewartfloor vent is handcrafted from premium hardwood and individually wrapped to protect its finish. Discover the visible difference of a continuous-looking floor, uninterrupted by noisy, obtrusive metal vents. Our vents are offered in 'Drop-in' and 'Flush Mount' styles and are available in unfinished, natural and stain finishes.

Drop-In Vent Style

Also known as self-rimming or an insert mount vent, this drop-in style fits over almost any existing or new duct opening. Gently rounded lip conceals rough floor edges. Adds a custom finishing touch to any floor - wood, stone, tile, vinyl or carpet.

Compatible with any floor thickness.
Easy to install - simply drop the unit into the duct opening.
Metal damper system is included to allow personalized airflow regulation.

Flush Mount Vent
Lies in its own frame assembly, this style sits flush with any hardwood floor. Provides a seamless and refined appearance to a wood floor.

Compatible with floor thicknesses: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4".
Installation with wood flooring is highly recommended.
Frame is permanently mounted to floor, while vent inset is removable for cleaning.
Frame has 45° mitered corners.
Metal damper system is included to allow personalized airflow regulation.

Cumaru, Tropical Touch for High-Traffic Areas

Cumaru, also known as Brazilian Teak, is an exceptionally durable and exotic flooring solution for any project – home or office. At nearly 3 times as hard as Red Oak on the Janka hardness scale, it is a strong hard wood that lends itself to high traffic areas from living room to office, rental to storefront.

A deep and at times dark wood, Cumaru adds an elegant yet understated touch to any room. Known for its brown color, it is the preferred alternative to Brazilian Cherry. The hardwood is extremely colorfast and will change little due to direct sunlight. With coloring ranging from tan to a deep reddish brown, it is a versatile and smart choice for any flooring project.
